Singer/Songwriter Amber Nadine and local actor, Dan Griffin are two talented individuals who's romance began during the COVID pandemic. While it shook the world in many life altering ways, it shook theirs more like a snowglobe with pretty snow falling around them making it feel as though they had their own private wonderland.

After the pandemic they both plunged back into their normal chaotic routine of Amber performing at local venues and Dan acting with various different theaters and film companies in the area. They both began noticing a pattern of different individuals coming up to Amber and saying "you're so talented, you should be in Nashville!" and with Dan of course it was "You should be in Hollywood!". Both Amber and Dan were always very flattered by those kind comments, but also had it ringing in the back of their minds, "Why can't we make our own hometown famous and have it be where people say "You're so talented you should be in Pennsylvania!!" to other out of state artists? Thus, Home Is Where The Art Is was born! It's a Nashville styled Songwriter's Round held every Third Thursday of the month where featured local songwriters will perform their original songs at Gift Horse Brewing Company. They really want the local talent to shine and grow and become more known for THEIR songs, not just how well they play "Wagon Wheel" 500 times at various different bars in the area. The event itself will have a socials table where audience members can connect with the songwriters on a deeper level after they've performed and get to know them for their songs and their storytelling. Pennsylvania really has some remarkable talent and it's time for that to be recognized.
